Inaugurated new giant of Reform : Tower BBVA Bancomer
Mexico, Mexico city.- Tuesday night Feb. 9 was opened in Mexico City Tower BBVA Bancomer, same which has 234 meters and 50 floors, and required an investment of 650 million dollars.
The event was held with the presence of President Enrique Peña Nieto, the Head of Government Miguel Ángel Mancera and several board members of BBVA
The building, located in Paseo de la Reforma 510, will host BBVA Bancomer, has 43 elevators, 2,813 parking spaces , 255 bicycle places and an auditorium for 250 people. Besides having LEED GOLD certification, it offers being friendly to the environment, by offering a 25 % saving of energy and a decrease in water consumption from 30% to 50 % ,

Some data from the Tower BBVA Bancomer :
- Its height is 234 meters to the helipad and 250 meters to the tip of the antenna , however , the official height will be 234 meters because the antennas are decorative . It will have 60 floors of 4.30 meters high each in the office floors and 3.7 m in the parking levels
- The total building area is 185,000 m2 in an area of 11,000 m²
- To date , it is the tallest skyscraper in the City of Mexico and the Mexican territory , pending the completion of construction in the same city the Reformation Tower ( 244m ) , the Mitikah Tower ( 267m ) , and in Monterrey the KOI Torre ( 276m )
The event was also attended by Secretary of Finance and Public Credit , Luis Videgaray , Governor of the Bank of Mexico , Agustin Carstens .
